Paint correction questions
What is the difference between a one-step and a two-step polish?
It's how much correction the paint gets. A one-step polish removes roughly 50–70% of light defects in a single stage; a two-step (full correction) removes about 70–90% of defects across two stages for heavier swirls and scratches.
Will correction remove every scratch?
Most, but not always all. Polishing removes swirls and light-to-moderate scratches; very deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat can't be fully polished out. Michael will tell you honestly what's realistic for your paint before he starts.
